Buster got arrested after footage of him dumping what looked like a corpse was accidentally shown on TV, the police linking this act to Lucille 2's disappearance. This time, the charge is first degree murder. Having been officially disbarred, Barry Zuckerkorn can't handle his case, so the Bluth Family needs another lawyer, and Barry suggests they should hire a group of lawyers called the Guilty Guys.
George Michael reveals Rebel dumped him after she learned he sold the company. Michael receives a horrifying package from China containing a severed foot.
To appease the Chinese, Michael organizes a televised groundbreaking ceremony to announce both the building of the wall and a partnership with Fakeblock, but GOB ruins the presentation and, on TV, announces the unveiling of both the real and the cyber wall to be in only two weeks, landing everyone (especially George Michael) in hot water.
The Arrested Development episode "The Untethered Sole" provides examples of:

- Series Continuity Error: Lucille refers to her maid Lupe as the one who raised Buster. In fact, Lucille only hired Lupe to replace her sister Luz back in season 1. The yet another maid who could have raised Buster was named Rosa. On the other hand, it would be very in character for Lucille to just not bother with telling her maids apart.
- Ultimate Job Security: Finally averted by Barry Zuckerkorn, with the reveal of him having been disbarred.
