- Kick the Dog: The cultists not only kill Virginia, but first surgically gives her the face of a pig, call her "piggy" repeatedly, and make her run for her life in a chase that is rigged against her so she'll lose. Not only that, the divorcee she did this entire thing to win over is part of the cult and the one leading the attack.
- The Beautiful Elite: The cult consider themselves to be superior to outsiders, using the yearly sacrifice to maintain their wealth and beauty.
