Nightfall occurs in Odaiba, Tokyo when a pink-haired songstress and her robotic companion are running out of a towering headquarters with a kind of vial. Once outside, she is under attack by robots called Endlaves, until another Endlave called the Steiner being piloted by a young woman defends the songstress and holding off opposing Endlaves.
Unfortunately, one of the opposing Endlaves' missiles sends the songstress and her robotic companion flying down to the waters under the bridge.
Meanwhile, a teenage boy is watching a video of the songstress, wondering what his mundane life will change.
