Basic Trope: War is depicted as awesome.

  • Straight: In Troperia Wars war is depicted as something of a victory march, coming home with medals and a lady on each arm.
  • Exaggerated: The war is depicted as so quick and glorious that no comrades are lost.
  • Downplayed: ???
  • Justified: It's In-Universe propaganda.
  • Inverted: War Is Hell
  • Subverted: However a pacifist nation depicts war as what it really is.
  • Double Subverted: Only for that nation to be brought into the war, then they switch up their propaganda.
  • Parodied: ???
  • Zig Zagged: ???
  • Averted: ???
  • Enforced: It's WWII and some studios are brought in to make propaganda for the government
  • Lampshaded: ???
  • Invoked: ???
  • Exploited: The government uses this for their propaganda in order to get young man into war.
  • Defied: ???
  • Discussed: ???
  • Conversed: ???
  • Deconstructed: Bob reads the propaganda and heads of with Charlie and Daniel off to Europe, only to lose his friends, watch his comrades die, lie in a muddy trench, easily get trench foot (because he is apart of the Canadian army, the manager of the army used cardboard shoes to deal with trench foot, which obviously didn't work.) And in the end, the comes home with medals and ladies alright, but also PTSD and the Spanish Flu.
  • Reconstructed: ???
