Basic Trope: A group peeks around a wall with all their heads inexplicably in a column.
- Straight: Alice, Bob, Charlie, and Daniel peek around a wall, leaning so their faces are stacked above each other.
- Exaggerated: Edgar, Fred, George, Harry, and Shuttle join the stack.
- Downplayed: Alice crouches and peeks around the wall. Bob remains standing and leans over Alice as he also peeks around the wall. The rest of the group members don't try to peek.
- Justified:
- As cheerleaders, the snoops practiced stacking like this ahead of time.
- Aliens and astronauts can pull this stunt easily in a zero-gravity environment.
- Scuba divers and merfolk can pull this stunt easily underwater.
- Each member of the gang is one head taller than the previous ala the Daltons.
- Inverted: Alice starts out at normal height, Bob crouches under her, Charlie goes on fours to peek under Bob, and Daniel lies flat on the floor to peek under all of them.
- Subverted: The camera cuts to what appears to be a Scooby Stack, but then it rotates to show that the "side" they were peeking from was actually the ceiling edge and they're all clinging to the top.
- Double Subverted: But then they come down from the ceiling and actually form a Scooby Stack.
- Parodied: ???
- Zig Zagged:
- Bob, Alice, Charlie and Daniel keep switching positions in the Scooby Stack.
- They keep moving from one wall to another in a Scooby Stack.
- Averted: Nobody peeks their heads from a wall.
- Everyone peeking around a wall (or at least trying to) at the same or close heights.
- There is no peeking.
- Enforced:
- It's easier (and thus cheaper) to draw than a more realistic pose.
- It's a Scooby-Doo parody.
- Lampshaded: "How are you doing that?"
- Invoked: Ron makes a scene purposefully so Lennon can knock them all over.
- Exploited: Alice gets off the Scooby Stack in order to get into the vent.
- Defied: Alice hisses at the group to stay back while only she peeks around the wall.
