Basic Trope: A character wears clothing made entirely out of plants.
- Straight: Ivy wears a dress made of leaves and vines as her main outfit.
- Exaggerated: Ivy wears a sophisticated pinsuit fit for Harvard Law School made of various plants, complete with pockets and shoes.
- Downplayed: Ivy wears only a bikini made of plants, or only one accessory made out of plants while all of her other clothes are normal.
- Justified: Ivy grew up in the forest and had to make her own clothing, hence this trope.
- Inverted: Ivy is a plant-based alien who wears a dress made of human skin.
- Subverted: Ivy changes to normal clothing when she gets a chance...
- Double Subverted: Only to find it uncomfortable and don her green gown again.
- Parodied: Ivy literally grows her outfits in gardens, like crops.
- Zig-Zagged: Ivy wears either her plant-based dress or a regular outfit, switching between scenes.
- Averted: Ivy either goes nude or wears normal clothing.
- Enforced: The executives need Ivy to remain decent while being a nature-oriented character.
- Lampshaded: "Looks like Ivy found a solution to not being able to afford clothes."
- Invoked: Ivy wears a dress made of plants in order to blend in with a tribe of people wo wear the same.
- Exploited: Alice steals Ivy's clothes, forcing Ivy to make a garment out of plants before her date with Bob.
- Defied: Ivy is allergic to raw plant matter (somehow) and only wears normal clothes.
- Discussed: "What better way to show Ivy's connection to nature than having her wear it?"
- Conversed: "Why are you kicking me out of your store?!? Your sign doesn't say what the clothes need to be made out of!"
