- Exaggerated: Everyone refers to him as The Hunter. He just can't live it down.
- Downplayed: A few murmurs abound about The Hunter, but Bob is usually referred to by name.

- Inverted: Bob insists on calling himself "The Hunter", but nobody else goes along with it.
- Subverted:
- Bob walks into a building and the crowd shouts, "The Hunter!" However, it's revealed that they're talking about something else.
- Hunter is his family name, to which he applies Spell My Name with a "The".
- Double Subverted: Specifically, the man entering the building behind Bob.
- Parodied: Bob is referred to as "The Walker of 3 blocks to the Corner Store Down the Hill".
- Zig Zagged: ???
- Averted: Bob is referred to by name and only by name.
- Enforced: "We need something easy to remember. Something to call him shorthand, something that means something. Audiences aren't going to get any reaction out of something like Bob Mclastname."
- Lampshaded: "Why do you call me that? Why does everyone call me that? I'm sick of it!"
- Invoked: Bob does something memorable, but misguided in an attempt to get the title.
