• While Ruby is a sweet girl regardless, the idea of having most of your body be replaced by the dark essence of unholy creatures that want nothing more to slay humanity is pretty horrifying.
• During their fight at the docks, Adam channels his Semblance into his gun and uses it to blow Ruby's head off.
• Following the above, Ruby regenerates and goes One-Winged Angel. Not only is the transformation itself horrifying enough to get Roman to surrender, but Ruby absolutely shreds Adam offscreen, ripping off his arm in the process.
• Salem sending Ruby into a rampage is rather horrifying, especially since she sends out her Rosebuds and has them use her various weapons.
• The villains in this AU detonate a bomb in Mountain Glenn that not only kills most if not all of the White Fang there, but releases the Wyvern early.
• He may of fully deserved it, but Adam being dragged off and killed by a Beringel during the attack on Vale is still rather horrifying to think about.
• Ironwood is still planning on raising Atlas into the sky despite Winter's objections.
• As it turns out there's nearly invisible Grimm in the stratosphere that occasionally just pop and cause buildings to collapse, which would destroy Atlas even if Ironwood's insane plan didn't have any other flaws.
• Salem's horde of Grimm attacking Atlas in the climax is huge enough that even the heroes, with all their Adaptational Badass credentials, are barely holding it back.
• It's implied that Weiss murdered her father offscreen. He had it coming, but still.
