Pearl the Cloud Fairy is the 10th book in the Rainbow Magic series, and the 3rd book in the Weather Fairies series. It was released on May 6th, 2004.
Tiny clouds are hanging over everyone's head, making them miserable.
Tropes:
- Cultural Translation: In the candy factory, some distinctly English items are renamed in the US prints. For instance, humbugs are changed to peppermints, and the candyfloss stick Kirsty picks up is changed to a peppermint stick.
- Cute Kitten: The Tate family adopts a kitten, whom Kirsty names after Pearl.
- Damsel in Distress: A goblin sticks Rachel into a cotton candy cloud, and she needs to be rescued.
