Awesome Man is Exactly What It Says on the Tin: He is a man, who is awesome.
Okay, let's get more into detail. Awesome Man was a film created towards the end of the 90s, starring Shaquille O'Neal, Meryl Streep and Elijah Wood. Awesome Man, played by the aforementioned Shaq, has his family killed by robot ninja pirates from the Fourth Dimension. So then, he enlists the help of a French chef (Meryl Streep), and a whiny teenager (Elijah Wood) to defeat many things, but not limited to, George Washington as a giant robot, a la Gundam, disco vikings, stoner assassins, Woody Allen as a dinosaur, and of course, the aforementioned ninjas.
The film was a box office and critical failure but was Vindicated by History when it became a Cult Classic for its seer Camp and So Bad, It's Good value.
