New Game Plus (2022)

In Spite of a Nail in this series.
  • Izuku still participates in the Sludge Villain Incident in order to rescue Bakugou. Only this time he's able to use One For All instead of having All Might show up to save him.
  • Izuku still picks Deku as his hero name since in the original timeline, he managed to develop enough of a positive association with it that Katsuki's continued usage of it as an insult does not faze him.
  • Despite doing nothing to make it happen, and in fact not expecting her at all, Izuku ends up meeting Toga in a place very far from any other where she met her in the original timeline, and she still has an instant interest in him.
  • Even though Himiko Toga is prevented from her canonical path of villainy, a teenage girl is still one of Stain's supporters. It's Hanako Yumara, whose father was killed just because his Quirk made him look villainous.
  • The first Side Story reveals that in the original timeline the Hirikones were killed by Ai after she freed herself from the alternate personality. Despite all the changes brought by the new timeline, they still end up murdered, this time by Shigaraki.
  • Even with all the different ways the raid on the Shie Hassaikai goes, Amajiki ends up facing the same trio as originally, and also starts formulating the same strategy to defeat them. Then Rappa, who has switches sides, comes.
  • Similar to the Toga example, Izuku ends up butting into Gentle and La Brava casually, this time while out on a date with Aoi and Ochako, and later he runs into Kota and then Muscular, again on a date. He'd get another date interrupted by Moonfish if it wasn't for Ronri's intervention.
  • At the UA entrance exam, Ochako ends up in the same situation as in canon. This time, however, Shinso's intervention and her own quirk ensure a positive outcome even without Izuku.
  • Izuku ends up being class representative of 1-A once again, by Aizawa's imposition as petty revenge. This time, however, he's got the confidence to accept the duty.
  • Shigaraki recruits a gang of villains on his own, threatens the Doctor to obtain some Nomu, including the "Anti-Symbol of Peace", and proceeds to breach UA's walls to attack the main campus, as he can't use Kurogiri's warp due to a special barrier UA installed. What was originally the attack on USJ, now happens in the same timeframe and on a larger scale.
  • Even after Shigaraki and All For One take measures to make the Nomu originally seen at USJ even stronger, to the point All Might is left so exhausted he reveals his true form, the beast is still sent flying away, this time in literal orbit, by Izuku unleashing an even stronger power thanks to the unlocking of Nejire's quirk.
  • Despite the different games played at the Sports Festival, Izuku still ends up having the most points at the end of the first round, and the second game game still requires the remaining students to form teams of two to four people like in the Cavalry Battle.
  • Despite very different circumstances, Todoroki is ultimately prompted to have the conversation with Izuku about his origin and his personal vow just like in the old timeline.
    • Someone still gets to inadvertedly hear that conversation from around the corner. But in this case it's Shiozaki learning more about Aoi.
  • Despite the first two phases of the Sports Festival having been very different from the original timeline, with many characters who passed originally not making it past them now and viceversa, Momo still ends up paired to fight Tokoyami at the first round of the Tournament.
  • Todoroki is still brought to reason about his own attitude and Quirk during the Sports Festival, despite the opponent being not even Izuku but Ai.
