- While still pictures during memories are somewhat limited, there is something oddly endearing about the memory of Emile holding baby Leanne by her ankle and regarding her with an almost curious sense of wonder and awe. Remember that this is a woman many compared to the devil due to her viciousness as a torturer and a soldier who had no qualms about murdering men, women, and children. Leanne was a civilian on the opposite side of the war, technically Emile's enemy, and yet the picture alone shows a developing mother's heart. The above point Leanne makes about her mother loving her from the moment of first finding her seems all the more justified by this picture alone.
