Heartwarming / The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men

Go To

  • Maid Marian telling Robin that it was a good thing he couldn't go on the Crusade, because he's far more necessary in England protecting the poor. She tells him this completely sincerely, and he is touched by the observation.
  • At the end, King Richard makes Robin the Earl of Locksley, then tells Marian that she's to marry the Earl of Locksley without telling her who he is. Then, after she has a moment of panicking that she won't be able to marry the man she loves, the King calls Robin "my Earl of Locksley", and Marian jumps at Robin and hugs him, to the amusement of the other outlaws.
