B.F.F, that stands for us! - In "Hero is My Middle Name", Sandy laments on how she's always been an outcast who doesn't fit in anywhere. How does SpongeBob respond? "You fit in with us, Sandy."

- Patrick telling his sardine worshippers that he'll be a worthy savior if he gets up and does something rather than sit around. Even if the sardines weren't his true friends, Patrick knows the sardines are just as worthy of saving as Spongebob.
- After Patrick saves SpongeBob on Mount Humongous, the two finally make amends and rekindle their friendship, all while a soft piano rendition of "BFF" plays in the background.Patrick: I realized something today, buddy. (The two give you each other a big hug) - The Best Day Ever serves as a hopeful song in the face of despair, and it's by far the most touching and meaningful number in the show. When all hope is lost and it appears that the town is down to its final minutes, SpongeBob encourages everyone to stop fighting, look around, and enjoy their time with each other while they still can. Every character, Plankton included, spends their remaining time dancing, singing, and having the time of their lives, before finally joining hands and embracing for the impact of the volcano. They slowly count down to their demise, and then... a cascade of bubbles rain down from Mount Humongous, signifying that Sandy's device had successfully stopped the eruption.Perch Perkins: Breaking news... - SpongeBob allowing Squidward to play the clarinet at a show, which the latter is ecstatic over.
- Patchy crashing the final song number, and SpongeBob is welcoming him to join in anyway.
- It's Played for Laughs, but the scene where Plankton asks Karen to start calling him "big guy" is actually kinda sweet, since it's made clear that deep down, all the little guy wants is to be bigger. They even share a Big Damn Kiss afterwards!
- This line from the Broadway version of “Bikini Bottom Day” "I will always vow and pledge allegiance to this town that I hold dear, for all are welcome here."
