Kingdom Hearts: Twilight's Awakening
- When Twilight is choosing one of the three weapons in the Dive to the Heart, she turns down both the sword and the staff because the sword was described as a "sword of terrible destruction" and the staff as having the power to "ruin". She decides to go with the shield, the power of the guardian, since it already described her whenever she faced a great evil. Plus, "Kindness" was already an Element of Harmony, so that was a bonus for her.
- Twilight was in a coma for a week after casting the perfected version of Starswirl's spell. As soon as Spike sees she is awake, he tackle-hugs her. After sending a message to the rest of the girls about it, it is the first thing Rainbow and Pinkie do too.
- After Twilight realizes how long she was asleep for, Spike assures her he took care of everything himself around the library. Eventually leading to this exchange:Twilight: (tightly hugging Spike) Did I ever tell you how much I love you?
Spike: About every time you told me that I was the little brother you never had. Which would be once a month every year since you hatched me when you were 10. - Twilight and Spike meet Flash Sentry in Canterlot when they come to speak to Celestia. Flash says he already knows about Twilight, since she is Celestia's student and Captain Shining Armor's younger sister, and Twilight, just like in canon, begins to develop a crush on the friendly stallion.
- Twilight protecting her friends from the Heartless as soon as she can fight back against them with her Keyblade.
- When Twilight is unconscious after arriving at Disney Castle, she has a dream where a little filly she has a vague memory of acts as her guide. She can't remember much about the filly, only remembering a few small details about her while following her. But, after she learns how to bring back Equestria, using the Elements of Harmony to restore the Tree of Harmony, she promises to hug the filly for real when she meets her again in the real world. She finally remembers that this filly is actually her childhood best friend, Sunset Shimmer. It seems the two of them were very close to each other, considering Twilight calls her "Sunny" after finally remembering her.
- It is nice to see a friendly Sunset so early on. Seems this version wasn't as power-hungry as her canon self was at the beginning.
- Flash Sentry says that when the Heartless invaded Equestria, the first thing he did was make sure his little brother First Base got to one of the shelters before going to the castle to get his shield.
