- In chapter 35:
- after defeating Medusa once and for all, Maka Offers Crona to stay with her and Soul in their appartment no questions asked before anyone else on their team can even say anything
- Spirit gives Maka a very bone crushing hug after coming to pick her and the others up after the mission was finally over. Maka is annoyed by this naturally
- Marie shows the same enthusiasm as Spirit, running up to Crona and giving him a huge motherly hug of her own. Crona doesn't fight back at all and welcomes her maternal affection completely. given how awful Medusa was, it's safe to say Crona fully appreciates Marie's motherly love
