Heartwarming / Scooby-Doo! and the WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon

Go To

  • Undertaker has nothing but respect for Shaggy and Scooby defeating the Ghost Bear, in contrast to Kane originally wanting nothing to do with them and only seeing the cowardly duo as his obstacle for the championship. He even gives them Friendly Address Privileges shortly after meeting them, while they're still terrified by his in-ring persona, helping to calm them down.
  • El Torito seems to like Scooby (and, to some degree, Shaggy). While they're talking to the Undertaker, he runs up, yelling the dog's name, and jumps onto him. Later, when Shaggy and Scooby believe they can finally relax, they're playing bullfight with him (Scooby as the bull, Shaggy as the matador, and El Torito riding Scooby). El Torito even apparently convinced one of his teammates to lend Shaggy his outfit.
  • Big Earl, the mechanic, agrees to let newcomer Fred help with the cars. He gives him a chance to explain his plans for Undertaker's new car (despite thinking it would be difficult to impossible to rustle up something overnight) and apparently, he was quite nice (given that Fred protests when Velma suggests he could be Inferno). As the car-making montage concludes, the two walk into the sunrise, with the exhausted Fred hanging off Big Earl's shoulder.
  • Velma warns Daphne about Stephanie, suggesting that she might "unfriend" her before the mystery is over. Daphne answers that that's unimportant, because Velma, not Stephanie, is her best friend.
  • Rusev, who's in third place, sees Inferno trying to smash the Too Awesome while Lana is aboard. He immediately yells that he'll save her and reverses his car. The announcer recognizes it and calls him a real superstar.
  • Kofi, who's reporting on the race from a hoverboard, tries to help "Team Taker" when Inferno comes close to killing them. It doesn't work because of the machine shorting out, but it's the thought that counts.
  • Stardust and Goldust's kookiness has been annoying Sheamus since the trial runs. However, as the final race begins, they finally manage to win him over by playing violin and bagpipes.
  • All the racers working together to defeat the Speed Demon.
  • At the very end, Shaggy and Scooby let Dusty have their prize money, recognizing the sweetness of his own reason for wanting to win $500,000: he wanted to buy a ranch for his grandkids.
