Heartwarming / Ready or Not (1993)

• In the fourth season episode, "Heroes", Busy encounters, reluctantly befriends and bickers with a new, wheelchair-bound student named Aiden. While ranting about him to Amanda, she comes to the realization that his condition is much more an inconvenience for himself than he is to others. In the following scene, during chemistry class, their teacher begins to treat him as an inconvenience as well, refusing to make any arrangements to accommodate him for a trip to a conservation site and outright telling him he can't come. Busy stands up for Aiden, calling their teacher out, stating the situation is unfair and refusing to back down when told to sit down and be quiet. She is then sent to the office, where her father shows up...
  Sam: They phoned me at the shop.
  Busy: Dad, you don't understand, he was—
  Sam: I had to leave work for this?
  Busy: Just let me tell you—
  Sam: Come all the way here to talk to them!
  Busy: Dad, I'm sorry, but if you'd just listen to me—
  Sam: (staring at the office door with contempt) I'll give them a piece of my mind...
  Busy: ...What?
  Sam: I'm proud of you.
  Busy: Proud...?
  Sam: You did the right thing. And that's what I'm going to tell them.
• When Dom resurfaces after being off to college for a whole season, Busy finds out that he's been ghosting everyone and refuses to go home due to having flunked college and being afraid to disappoint and anger his parents, especially his father Sam. She eventually convinces him to go home, forcing him to face his parents. Sam, at first, is angered by the news - exactly as he and everyone else predicted - but thankfully Character Development had long kicked in for the man. After seeing Dom with his own eyes and the state he was in (unkempt, starving and afraid), rather than yell at him, he places a comforting hand on the back of his head and calmly, gently calls for dinner time.
