Beware Spoilers

  • Once it's been established how isolated Sarah and Nyles' lives have become, it's very enjoyable watching them bond during their time-looping escapades. What's especially notable is how the two of them begin waking up with big smiles on their faces, excited to spend their days together. Compare that to the visible dread we see on Nyles' face every morning at the film's beginning.
  • Nyles getting over his nihilism & fear of the future (and death) to walk into the cave at the climax of the film because he would rather die with Sarah than live without her in the loop.
  • Roy’s realization, while Nyles and Sarah are having fun, that the day he’s stuck in isn’t a bad day at all: his wife is "in her prime", his children are still young and adorable, and he actually loves his family and his life in Irvine, which is why he no longer wants to kill Nyles. He only does so one more time because Nyles asks him to, so that Nyles won’t have to go to the trouble of driving back to Palm Springs. When he next meets Nyles, after Sarah has emailed him about her plan, he’s no longer homicidal but friendly.
  • Once Sarah & Nyles break the time loop, they are shown the next day back at the "safehouse" where Sarah finds out that Nyles has a dog. It's a small thing, but is enough to show that even with all the time looping, that they will still grow, learn new things about each other and won't immediately fall into a "we've done this all before" funk.
  • The reveal in The Stinger that Sarah emailed Roy about her plan and seeing him smile realizing it worked, implying that he's made aware how to get out of the loop, and is going to follow the directions to do so.
