Heartwarming / Nothing Much To Do

• In the first episode one of Bea's reasons for moving to Auckland instead of Australia is because she gets to live with Hero. It's only a small moment but sets up the sweet sisterly relationship between Bea and Hero for the series.
• Ben's Q&A session when he says that Pedro and Claudio are like the brothers he never had. Though it takes a much sadder turn considering their later rift.
• Ben admitting he likes Bea and proceeding to gush about how amazing and beautiful she is.
  "She's been tearing herself up over me even though I've done nothing to indicate I feel the same way...But the truth is um...I do. I do...I mean come on she's brilliant, she's gorgeous. We were always meant to be like this!" ^note  Bear in mind this is when Bea's brilliance is usually directed taking jabs at him and she doesn't bother about her appearance much, but Ben is still completely besotted.
• "All it takes is one little smile, one little acknowledgement that — that I mean something to you, and it's like everything just... stops." Damn, Ben. Just... damn.
• Benedick and Beatrice's songs for each other with Ben's complete lack of shame about how much he adores Bea.
  Ben: "And this will sound sappy...you make me happy...Beatrice you're vivacious, I can't take this I love you."
  • Beatrice is much more self-conscious but pushes through anyway including thanking him for being there for her during Pedro and Claudio's accusations.
  Beatrice: "You stayed true...when I needed someone... I felt defeated. I love it that you care and that you were there."
  • Bonus points for them both lampshading their dislike of relationships and acknowledging that things won't be easy, but that doesn't matter anymore.
  Bea: "Of course it won't be perfect, but maybe it'll be worth it. It won't be ok, not everyday, we'll argue and stuff and put up a fuss...but I want you to know it's from this we will grow."
• In the “Project VI - Montage” episode, when John appears at the top of the hill overlooking the picnic, and Pedro gets a really serious look on his face and strides up the hill after him, you can see John starting to flinch back as he approaches, obviously expecting Pedro to angry and tear into him – and then Pedro bear hugs him.
  • And then John comes back down the hill and actually joins the picnic, and Hero offers him cookies. Did anyone not almost tear up at this whole bit?
• Hero's treatment of everyone who hurt her: She forgives Claudio, Pedro and John, and even tells Bea to stop holding onto her resentment because they all need to move on. The amount of kindness behind that it incredible.
• All of 'Bleurgh' where Ben and Bea do their "bath-tub vlogging" together and work through their past mistakes. Ben says sorry for freaking out over his feelings before and Bea apologizes for lashing out. And they both confirm they're working on communication now, have their first proper, on-screen kiss and end on promises of more. It's the last time we see them together and is the perfect confirmation that yes they're very happy and are going to be an awesome couple.
• The penultimate episode cements Ben as the truly awesome friend of the group, encouraging Pedro to forgive himself and move on, reassuring him that Bea doesn't hate him, managing to get the first-ever laugh out of John and heavy-handily pushing Pedro and Balthazar together. Given John and Pedro's actions put Ben into a horrible situation isolated from his friends, it's sweet to see he's the one pushing for forgiveness and moving on from it all.
