Even if he does become suspicious of Hard Cover briefly, Air Waves refusing to give into Free Lance's attempts at throwing an Apple of Discord into the crew.
Fairytail of all ponies telling Sunny that Air Waves is a 'level headed pony' and generally speaking highly of him, showing their heart to heart earlier stuck (which in and of itself counts). Which also shows during the show, as Fairytail is far more civil towards him.
