  • The climax of the film has Asuna possessed by Lisa, Morisaki's deceased wife. He's dismayed at what happened but considers her return more important, to the point that when Shin tries to stop him, Morisaki pulls out a knife and tries to kill him. As he's asking why Shin is trying to stop this, Shin sums up the central theme of the movie, breaks free, and frees Asuna.
    Shin: Because the living are more important!
    • Before Shin saves her, we briefly see Asuna in the afterlife, sitting at a table with Shun and Mimi. Although the reunion was brief, it's touching to see her spend some time with both of her deceased loved ones, before parting with them for good.
  • Asuna hugging Shin and Morisaki before she goes back home.
  • Lisa's last words to Morisaki: "I hope you find happiness".
  • Asuna hugging Morisaki after the latter grieves over not being able to bring back his wife.
  • Asuna and Mana's relationship. That is all.
  • In the credits, Asuna looks out the window to where she first met Shun and Shin. Before leaving for her school graduation, Asuna bids her mom farewell.
  • Asuna's mom hugging her daughter tightly.
  • Shin's entire Character Development that has him warming up to Asuna.
