Heartwarming / Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe

Go To

  • In a weird way, the scene where Serena learns that Beavis and Butt-Head only wanted to have sex with her. She immediately stops being hostile towards them, and the soldiers cease fire. Also, while "our" B&B didn't get to score, Smart Beavis and Butt-Head become the first versions of the duo to score (well, Smart Beavis scored. Smart Butt-Head watched from where he was hidden in a piece of luggage).
Beavis: And it wasn't me, but somewhere out there, there's a Beavis who scored. Hm, yeah, heh-heh-heh.
  • It was also nice to see that the smart duo never fight, get angry, or yell at each other on-screen. From what little we see of them, they seem to have a much healthier friendship with each other compared to "our" Beavis and Butt-Head.
    • Even "our" Beavis and Butt-Head's friendship gets a little better near the end, especially Butt-Head's treatment of Beavis, compared to how he was earlier in the movie and the series as a whole.
Beavis: You can score first if you want to, Butt-Head.
Butt-Head: Beavis, I'm not gonna score, and you're not gonna score. We're gonna score.
Beavis: Heh heh, yeah! YEAH! YEAH!
Butt-Head: Now let's go score before I change my mind.
  • Butt-Head even calls them a team when asked by Serena if they're gonna both score with her or if it's just gonna be one.
  • Beavis gives a rather inspiring speech right before going into space. Despite believing he was about to score, it's still quite profound. Almost like his "never gonna score" speech from Do America but on a smarter and less dramatic level.
  • Beavis falls in love with Siri because it gave him a courtesy he never got from people. It goes to show that unlike Butt-Head, Beavis is looking for a genuine connection rather than just fulfilling his teenage lust.
  • If Tom Anderson and Principal McVicker are dead in the present, then they were able to live out their last years in peace with Beavis and Butt-Head gone. Or at least McVicker, as the following revival reveals that Anderson is still alive and well.
