• In Harmony Dies in My Little Short Stories, it said that after the Tree of Harmony's destruction the ponies' hearts have hardened to the point of becoming borderline barbaric, cruel and half-feral. If so, then how do the New Equestrian ponies manage to retain the original Equestrian morals and values?
  • Word of God said that they were affected by the Tree's death. He also said that the reason they kept the morals and values of Equestria because they were lucky enough not to be plagued by wars and targeted by Tirek.
