Headscratchers / Ninjago: Dragons Rising

  • If it's been years since the Merge happened and glitchy invincible eye monsters pop out of holes in the universe every now and then, how are any of the realms still intact?
    • I think it was stated that most of the MergeQuakes happen near the sight of the original Merge. They've only recently begun spreading.
  • When the ninja infiltrate Dr. LaRow's lab, why did Sora not even think about dyeing her hair? It seems obvious that a civilization dead set on bringing her to justice would notice someone with the same shade of hot pink hair as a wanted criminal.
    • Jordana's hair is about the same shade. It's reasonable to assume that hot pink hair is more common in the Imperium than in, say, Real Life.
  • In "Return To Imperium", how is Lloyd okay after being hit point-blank by Wyldfyre's wall of flames? He gets attacked with even more fire in the next episode and is perfectly fine in the next few scenes.
    • We already know that the Ninja are Made of Iron from things like Cole falling several stories during "March of the Oni" and only being knocked out. It's a bigger miracle Lloyd's clothes didn't turn to ash.
  • Speaking of Wyldfyre, this is the second time Kai sees another person manipulate fire, followed by figuring out how there can be two elemental masters of the same element. Did someone forget season 4 existed?
    • No. It's more like Kai is shocked that there is, apparently, ANOTHER Master of Fire since he knows that Wyldfyre didn't touch him, thus meaning she isn't the Master of Amber like Skylor.
  • What exactly is the difference between fire and heat? Both masters can shoot fireballs, fly, and manipulate existing objects.
    • Fire is just that, Fire. Heat, I think, is just manipulating and being immune to high temperatures. The fire is just a byproduct of the power.
  • In "Wyldly Inappropriate", Lobbo was crowned winner of Zane Day's Zane-a-like contest, when he only had 70 points, and the runner-up, Tope-Epot, had 76. Was there another round off-screen?
    • In certain sorts of game shows, it's common in contests like this for the final round to count double. This should perhaps have been made explicit if it was the intent.
  • How was Sora able to create mechs for herself, Kai, and Cole that had also the boys' Elemental essences when the Chronosteel didn't absorb them?
  • The first teaser of Season 2 shows a Ninja in blue with the same shade as Jay on Lloyd's right as Kai and Wyldfyre are about to use their Elemental Powers. Though, it is unsure if it is Jay, or simply Nya in an animation error.
    • An Okoo commercial confirmed it was actually Nya.
  • What did Kai and Riyu experience in the Phantasm Cave?
  • How did Jay find out about Gandalaria's escape tunnel to ambush Bonzle and Sprite?
