    The Climax / Ending (spoilers)
  • What exactly did Clayton learn that made him go after Crowder specifically (as opposed to Jeffries, Bach, Grissom, or someone else in his firm or U/North)?
    • She's the obvious weak link and the least protected. All the others are too far up the food chain to go after. Crowder's hands are all over the murder of Arthur. She's done so much to protect the company and forgotten to look after herself.
    • Also, he knows she's the stupidest and most erratic high-level executive in the company. Michael assesses her in their one previous encounter and correctly recognises that she puts up a good facade, but is in way over her head. As soon as he threatens her with revealing the extent of the company's crimes, she folds like a house of cards and agrees to everything he asks for—and also completely fails to disagree with him about everything he says about how toxic the weedkiller is.

The Rest of the Movie (more spoilers)

  • How did Karen get hold of Arthur's briefcase?
    • I always figured that someone from uNorth grabbed it after Arthur had his meltdown and smuggled it back into all of Arthur's files when they were sent to Marty's house.
  • What do Verne and Iker do when they're not planting bugs and killing inconvenient witnesses? Do they just sit around waiting for the phone to ring, like the killers in the Bourne movies, or do they have day jobs?
    • Given that one of them offers a number of options for how the threat Arthur represents can be "neutralised" which aren't to do with actually killing him, presumably they do low-level corporate espionage as well as hit jobs.
