- In S3 E8, parents are suing for their daughter, who is in a vegetative state, to be allowed to die. It’s mentioned that they mortgaged their house and lost their savings keeping her alive. But why? Who is paying for her hospitalization? Surely they’re not obligated to pay for treatment they object to, are they?
