Headscratchers / Freddie as F.R.O.7

Go To

With a Movie like Freddie as F.R.O.7 There's bound to be a few headscratchers.

  • In the American dub of this film, the narrator explicitly states that Fredrick used his powers to travel through time and that is how he gets from 15th century France to the present day. If Freddie could travel through time, why didn't he travel back in time and...Oh...I don't know.... maybe, stop his father from being murdered by his aunt? The way she did it was subtle. She turned into a snake and spooked his father's horse so that he would fall from it and die. Easy solution Just go back in time and tell your dad that you don't want to go horseback riding. Better yet, keep your mother from boarding the ship that she died on. Why not?
    • I don't have the faintest idea. This is, obviously, a dub-induced plothole. The UK version rather implied that the curse had made Prince Freddie immortal. Somehow.
    • Maybe Freddie only has the ability to travel forwards in time?
  • Who's ruling Freddie's Kingdom now that freddie and messina gone?
  • Why does El Supremo want to steal England's historical landmarks anyway?
    • He explains that the collective national pride of the UK is in them, and taking the landmarks allows him to collect that patriotism as an actual physical energy, turn it to negative, then send it out across the British Isles. The negative energy will make the British weak and apathetic and unable to resist when his submarine fleet invades.
  • Why does Messina, a snake-lady, have Nazi sidekicks? Hitler has nothing to do with her or this movie.
  • How are Freddy and Messina still alive after hundreds of years? Does it have something to do with their magic?
  • Does El Supremo had a Freudian Excuse of how he became a Supervillain bent on Enslaving the UK and the world by stealing Historic landmarks? and also, Messina. does she have a Freudian Excuse too?
