What happened to them other dogs?

• What happened to all of Muntz's dogs after Carl sold the airship? Were they bought with it?
  • My guess is that he rehomed those other dogs or the the writers forgot about them.
    • The credits of Up showed Muntz’s dogs living at Shady Oaks Retirement Home. As of Carl's Date, when Dug talks to Alpha/Beta, they have all been adopted, seemingly by the residents.

Russel's Increased Intelligence

• Since when is Russell smart enough to reverse engineer Muntz's talking collars? Was there a moment in Up that showed Russell was that smart?
  • Given the great amount of merit badges it's possible that Russell is able to learn new skills quickly and that he studied how the collars worked on the off-chance that he'd need to fix/rebuild them in any way.
