  • Wells says to Cooper that Bruce was "torn apart" but when Wells discovered Bruce's body he's perfectly intact.
    • Bruce got impaled through the gut on a tree and was definitely savaged by a wolf afterwards. We see his head and chest, but not the rest of him. His face has blood pouring down it, suggesting he got clawed. His midriff would definitely show signs of damage, and the wolves did devour the tourists legs-first so...
    • And Wells says this after Cooper finds him. Who's to say that the wolves didn't tear Bruce apart after they clawed him?
  • Military dogs take a hefty amount of time and money to train and care for. That alone should be reason enough for Ryan not to just callously shoot one, never mind any moral implications that would arise from such an action. Is he not worried about any repercussions from essentially destroying a valuable and expensive military asset?
    • He has the rank but doesn't appear to report to anyone else, since it's said he's not properly part of the military. Men like that are also able to cover things up to avoid repercussions for their actions. If he has to explain it to anyone, he could say the dog died in the line of duty or blame it on a fall guy. Since he's hunting werewolves, he might also have an eye on something more valuable than a military dog, explaining his wastefulness somewhat.
  • If Sam is the werewolves pet dog and they locked him in the cupboard presumably so they wouldn't have to avoid killing him. How come later when they're eating Spoon one of them looms over Sam and the implication is that he also got eaten but it's later shown that hes still alive. Why would they lock up their dog if they didn't kill him as shown later.
    • It's possible that they didn't want him to try and attack them, not out of their own well being, but because he might hurt himself.
