Headscratchers / Cats & Dogs

• This movie is suspiciously similar to an animated series that used to run on Fox Kids many years ago, at least where I live (Norway), not sure if it aired in the states. It centered around a secret organization of spy-dogs protecting humanity from evil mastermind cats, name being "The Secret Files of the Spydogs". This movie must be related, no?

• Why couldn't Mr. Brody just recreate the formula if the dogs chose to save him? Sure, it was a (somewhat) accidental creation, but he could probably remember what ingredients were in the last batch- if not the formula itself. It's basic scientific procedure to examine the contents of one's mixtures.
• Replacing a bunch of Beagle puppies with dogs of an entirely different breed. Whose bright idea was it, and wouldn't the farmer immediately call the police instead of letting Mrs. Brody take any of the new dogs, even if Lou wasn't there to be adopted?
