    The bombs
  • Cody Rhodes' bomb only blew off his head when it detonated and the explosion didn't affect the Warden, who was standing only a few feet away. Jade's bomb detonation was enough to short out the machine restraining the Ghosts, but still left her body whole and didn't injure anyone near her. So why was Dolph's bomb powerful enough to destroy not only his whole body, but also the Warden's?
    • The Warden gets a Robotic Reveal so her body is more than likely tough enough to survive.
      • That doesn't answer the question of why Dolph's bomb was even able to damage her, while Cody's and Jade's were only powerful enough to destroy their own heads and nothing else.
      • They were right next to each other, while the others were at least a few feet apart though.

    Dolph's relationship with Marcus
  • The trailer for Dolph's documentary in episode one mentions that he was secretly working with Marcus Holloway the entire time he was in the military. But when the two interact in episode 5, they don't seem to know each other at all. Was Eden just making up stories about Dolph in order to villainize him in the eyes of the public?
    • Probably. Using the propaganda machine to smear their enemies' reputations is just a thing that despotic regimes do.

    Self-driving cars
  • What happens to the passengers in the actual cars if the pilot is too slow, or even crashes the virtual car?

Dolph's Bomb vs. The Warden's Virus
  • Why would the Warden even bother with trying to kill Dolph with a computer virus after she no longer had any use for him? Yes, granted, she needed him to serve as an unwitting vector for the virus so she could infect the VR prison, but did she just forget that she put a bomb in the guy's head?
    • Two birds, one stone. The virus killing Dolph was most likely just a side effect. The Warden simply didn't care what happened to Dolph afterward, and if the virus was going to kill him anyway, there was no point in using the bomb.
