Examples where the film forgets who's supposed to be from where:
- The Gordons are in charge of South Hemis' Red Planet Project (their mission to Mars). After the rocket is launched, taking Dr. Albert Gordon and Craig Matthews to the space station, Dr. Ruth Gordon, the flight controller, writes an entry in a log that has North Hemis in the heading.
- During the narrated part at the beginning of the film, a map of the world is shown depicting North Hemis and South Hemis along with their respective flags. The South Hemis ship for the mission to Mars has the North Hemis flag on it.
