Headscratchers / Archie's Weird Mysteries

• In "Attack of the 50-Foot Veronica", when Veronica grows larger, you can clearly see that her earrings have also grown larger. Since the Growth Ray doesn't affect nonliving things, what the heck happened?
  • Either a mistake by the artist, or they feel that she doesn't look the same without them.
• Dilton is probably the best student in Riverdale and at the very least one of the best. In "Something Is Haunting Riverdale High", he goes missing for a full day before anyone notices. How?
  • Even in the comics, it's been noted that he disappears into his lab for extended periods, and even has anti-interruption measures in place for those times when he truly needs to be left alone. His parents doubtless assumed he was busy in the lab during those times when he should have been home, but would have reported him missing within another day.
• In "Green-Eyed Monster", Dorsa dislikes men that have different colored hair that are not red-heads or have orange hair as Archie does. Why would Dorsa dislike men with different colored hair?
  • Maybe she just likes redheads because she had a First Love who was a redhead.
  • Why does anyone have preferences about what characteristics they find attractive?
• Why don't any villains return or appear in any episodes after their first appearance?
  • If you're referring to the monsters of the week, those are usually handled/defeated pretty thoroughly.
• Why would Whitney from "Misfortune Hunters" think that Riverdale can handle a demon?
  • Probably he just doesn't care one way or the other.
