Why the player doesn't escape The Eternal Mine by themselves?
  • Isn't they have like powerful magic skill or powerful combat skill at this point?, Or try to find their stuff around the mine which in a barrel near their mining place, and the only thing that prevent them from this is a manacle on their feet.

    Calvus the Fourth?
  • The first ruler of Ravenna Realms is Nero Caesar, then Octavious Caesar. But King Calvus have IV behind his name why he is the fourth despite being third king of Ravenna Realms?
    • There was a ruler before Nero Caesar, for example, Calvus Caesar then Calvus II and III before Ravenna Realms became a powerful nation in Nero's regime.

Grand Navy involvement with the Order of Aesir
  • The Grand Navy is looking for people with Sea Curses. So is the Order of Aesir. Is this just a coincidence, or is something more going on?
    • Every kingdom in War Seas want the Sea Curses, so it likely that the organization also want the curses too.
      • That is true, though someone else on the WMG page did theorize about Commodore Kai possibly being an Order member based on two of his defeat messages.
    • There's no mention about the Navy want Sea Curses so this might be false. Unless we got more information about Grand Navy in next chapters.

The poem in the Arcane Odyssey trailer
  • There are multiple interpretations of it, but none of them have been confirmed. The poem reads as follows:
"Golden ichor of long past,
do your best to make it last
Fire the furnace that burns still,
even if you have to inherit its will
The sword of time pierces all,
brace yourself for its fall
Those who sow the wind,
shall reap the whirlwind."
The question is: is this perhaps some type of prophecy about the player?
  • The last two lines is referenced to Hosea 8:7. Which mean that if someone does something evil, they will face the worse consequence.

What happen to Nero Caesar and his curse?
  • Curse user can't die from natural cause, but if that true he would still become the Ravenna ruler. Or was he stabbed with devourer? but problem is Ravenna doesn't still have the curse that Nero Caesar own.
    • Well, it’s already been explained that if a Curse-user dies without being stabbed with a Devourer, their Sea Curse just shoots out and ends up somewhere far away.
      • But are there any explanation the reason he die? does he was assassinated by random citizen in Tiberia which make Ravenna lost their curse and eventually neglecting Tiberia? or other incident that led to his death? But problem is nobody in Ravenna remember that.
      • We don’t know what happened for sure. But we do know that if something such as an assassination did occur, it likely would’ve been played off as an accident or a natural death to keep Ravenna’s citizens from learning pieces of the truth about the royal family. After all, none of the ordinary citizens in Ravenna knew about the darker things going on behind closed doors, like the royal family’s involvement with with the Order of Aesir.

    Neviro stalk Iris to Ravenna
  • Isn't she suppose to went to Silverhold first before going to Ravenna where player can met her there. If Neviro does stalk her. She would notice him in Silverhold before she reached to Ravenna.
    • It's possible that he might've waited for some reason (perhaps to think of a plan) before going out to follow her.
  • Another problem is that he mentioned that he have been hitchhiking on merchant boats, so it is unlikely that he could follow her. Although there's sailboat that parked at Stepstone in first part of story, but that same sailboat disappeared before completing chapter 2, so it is unlikely that Neviro stole that sailboat and drove away.

    Tier 4- 5 Insanity damage
  • So, without Warding, tier 4 Insanity does 20% of your HP in damage every 2 seconds on top of causing hallucinations, and tier 5 Insanity deals 33% of your health in damage every 2 seconds. Considering that you get both from going very far out into the Dark Sea (and, for tier 5 Insanity, also finding the Akursius Keep secret), is there an in-universe explanation to this?

The second Baron of the Order in Ravenna
  • It's been confirmed that every High Lord of the Order has two Barons working under them, and General Argos was one of the Barons working under King Calvus, so what happened to the second one?
    • Probably we'll see them in Nimbus Sea or being an optional boss in Bronze Sea (note that some area of Bronze Sea aren't complete so we'll see that.)

Not wanted by The Grand Navy?
  • Exclude helping Edward Kenton get his gears back in Sliverhold and assault Grand Navy crews, The player infiltrate inside Ravenna fort and kill one of the Bronze Legion's General. And months later, they kill the ruler of Ravenna Realms. wouldn't make them a threat to the War Seas consider that they could potentially continue their killing spree on another nations?
    • If you're talking about game mechanics, this could be a case of Gameplay and Story Segregation. If you're talking about justifying it with regards to the actual story, then I don't know. Though based on Edward Kenton's interaction dialogue when the player asks him about what he thinks is going on with the Grand Navy, there's obviously something up with it, and that could be a possible explanation.
    • Given there can't be witnesses if everyone is dead, it's possible they just don't know. Furthermore, leaking their king was murdered would likely not look good on Ravenna and prompt the Grand Navy to take advantage of it, so they may just be keeping it under wraps.
      • Apparently, the news about his death was quickly spread to Sameria's Empress in Chapter 6 and 7, plus there's one an NPC in Rasna talk about the assassination explicitly. therefore this theory can be cut out.
