While the story can be dark and emotional at times, there are still moments that provide plenty of levity like in canon, whether it's classroom or home shenanigans, or Minoru being everybody's punching bag.

• Chapter 2:
  • Katsuki noting that Izuku didn’t say anything during his first meeting with Ochaco, despite saying he talked to a girl.
• Chapter 3:
  • Izuku loudly declares he’s “Deku” after Ochaco ends up noting how it can mean something better, all while having a red face that Katsuki says is weird.
• Chapter 4:
  • Minoru’s introduction to the class has him exclaim that he loves girl heroes because of their sexy costumes. Everybody in the class boo him loudly, and Katsuki and Izuku both identify him as a P.A.L. (Pervert At Large). Later when the students show off their costumes, Izuku mentally adds a tally against the short perv after noticing him ogling Ochaco’s costume. And then Katsuki adds another one after Minoru loudly states his hopes that Denki’s electric attacks burn off Ochaco’s costume.
• Chapter 5:
  • After Izuku returns from seeing Recovery Girl, Katsuki reveals that Minoru has been attempting to cop a feel on Momo even after All Might told him not to, and succeeded twice. Both then come to a decision, which leaves the rest of the class and All Might to wonder if they should be concerned for their behavior.
    • Said decision is revealed after the combat training ends. Izuku calls Minoru over to show him a window that looks into the girls’ locker room. Minoru immediately runs over, only to get intercepted by Katsuki, who kicks him the balls so hard, he goes flying across U.A., stopping once he crashes into the steel walls, nine hundred and fourteen meters away from Izuku and Katsuki. Kyoka, who thought seconds ago that Izuku was being a pervert himself, immediately calls him a treasure.
    • After the students return to class, Aizawa gives Katsuki detention for kicking Minoru. Katsuki’s response?
      Katsuki: I regret nothing.
• Chapter 6:
  • During Class A’s election for a president, Minoru states that he’ll place a policy for all girls to show thirty centimeters of thighs. To no one’s surprise, none of the students vote for him, and Katsuki threatens to punt him again, willing to accept another detention. The little pervert immediately ducks down under his desk in fear.
  • Minoru’s bad luck continues, as after their second heroics class, Izuku and Katsuki catch him going through the girls’ locker room for their undergarments. What follows is a loud series of bangs and shouts, culminating in Minoru being sent flying into the U.A. barrier again.
    • Poor Izuku ends up getting two of Minoru’s balls stuck to his hands, and each one has a pair of panties stuck to them. He weakly declares himself to be a pervert, much to the girls’ amusement.
    • It gets worse when Izuku walks out and accidentally bumps into All Might, causing the balls to be stuck to his own chest, giving off the impression that he’s groping himself. The poor kid is about ready to just die from embarrassment.
• Chapter 7:
  • A day after rescuing Eri, Izuku comes to class late with her in tow. Aizawa just takes one look at the girl before continuing with homeroom much to the students’ disbelief.
  • When All Might arrives to explain Eri being in class, it all boils down to "she’ll be here because of reasons, so get along." As Sato notes, it doesn’t explain much at all.
• Chapter 8:
  • During Izuku’s heartwarming soothing of Eri, he makes her laugh by doing an All Might impression, making his face look like the hero’s.
  • Minoru ends up in Katsuki’s crosshairs again after he comments how Izuku, not wanting to leave Eri alone for long, changed into his costume faster than a professional stripper.
  • Due to Eri being with the students, Katsuki has to refrain from swearing at Tsuyu and Denki, only doing so once Izuku has her ears covered.
    Katsuki: No munchkin is gonna save you from getting your asses blown to motherfucking oblivion!
