• After the toy troll is awakened, Myles and the fairy Lazuli Heights watch in horror as Beckett hops down to its level, convinced that he's about to meet a terrible death. Instead, he converses with the troll and gets into a playful wrestling match with it, culminating with Myles realizing that all of his brother's past talking with animals hasn't been simply "Beckett being Beckett" but that his brother possesses the gift of tongues.
• Sister Jeronima activates her smartphone to try to track the Fowls and can only watch as malware that Myles planted on it activates while an image of Myles taunts her by reciting "Let me in" from The Three Little Pigs until within seconds he has command and control of all of her files.
