First Game

  • The opening cutscene, where Jibolba is apparently able to see the player and mistakes them for a Juju he summoned.
Jibolba: Hello? Can you hear me? Hmm. You do not speak, but I see that you listen. You look so strange…your clothes, the power stick you hold in your hands. I have never seen a Juju like you before! And what is this magic box you watch me on? It is clearly the most important thing in your hut!
  • When Tak goes to see the Mummy King, the King challenges Tak to take his staff from him. Which Tak does, quite easily. He also manages to rip off the Mummy King's arm in the process.
Mummy King: Ohhhh man! That's my fightin' arm!
  • After Tak acquires the herbs and spices to help Jibolba change the sheep back into Lok, it's revealed that they had found Lok's squire, Tobar, instead. Tak then asks Tobar if he's seen Lok. Tobar then proceeds to bleat like a sheep in response.
Tak: Uhh...Jibolba? Are you sure you did that spell right?
Jibolba: Of course I did! You mean he wasn't always like this?
  • Jibolba and Tak find out what happened to Lok after Tak obtains the Spirit Rattle. Apparently, he tried to calm down a flock of people-turned-into-sheep, only to get Squashed Flat by them. Luckily, he can be resurrected via a spell that involves Lok's spirit and one hundred magic yorbels.
    Tak: A hundred magic yorbels?!
Jibolba: Yes, don't complain. When I was a young man, it used to take ten thousand magic yorbels to do a resurrection spell!
Tak: Lucky me. Now if I only knew what a yorbel was.
  • The moment Lok is finally resurrected has the supposed mighty warrior hit with a terrible case of something called Resurrection's Revenge. Tak and Jibolba humorously tried to wait for Lok to finish, only for Jibolba to lose patience after Tak accidently hit his nose with a paper football. Lok's grunting whilst undergoing Resurrection's Revenge makes this scene all the more funnier.
  • Tak tries to talk back to Moon Juju, who responds by threatening to inflict Resurrection's Revenge (i.e. diarrhea) on him if he continues to object.
