• The opening credits showcase an Establishing Character Moment for all of the main characters: Rei checking out an occult shop, Minako showcasing different outfits (using Artemis as an accessory for one), Ami buying a huge stack of books and making the others hang their heads in shame, Makoto casually winning a punching game (and also destroying the game and getting a standing ovation from the girls), etc. When the Outers see the group and walk up to greet them, Usagi is standing at a food stand and, upon turning around, has her mouth stuffed full of snacks.
• While getting chased by a Snow Dancer, Usagi and Chibi-Usa distract it by pointing up in the sky and going, "Look!". The Snow Dancer stops, and the girls quickly run off to the side to transform, leaving the Snow Dancer clueless.
  • In the Cloverway English version right before they distract the Snow Dancer, as they run from it, trying to avoid getting frozen, Chibi-Usa screams, "Help! I'm getting cold shivers up my BACK!"
• When Sailor Moon gets into trouble in a fight, a familiar red rose is hurled. Sailor Moon looks up to see... Santa Claus? It does turn out to be Tuxedo Mask under the suit. Better still, it is implied that he rented out a Christmas-themed blimp, complete with reindeer, for his big entrance into battle. He makes a corny speech that even the Snow Dancer attacking Sailor Moon and Sailor ChibiMoon can't be bothered to make sense of.
• In the original dub, after Tuxedo Mask delivers a hammy speech about how the Snow Dancers' actions aren't acceptable, the Dancer who was fighting Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon — who, like all the other Dancers, mostly shrieked — snarkily replies with "You don't say!"
• After Luna goes missing, Rei angrily accuses Usagi of being the cause and then Usagi goes ballistic and she and Rei get into a tongue war, as seen here.
• Later, Luna has actually fallen in love with the human Kakeru and, after having a conversation with Usagi about potpourri, decides to sneak onto Usagi's vanity while she and Chibi-Usa slept and try some for herself. As she struggles with the top, the girls mumble "Mamo-chan..." in their sleep, unnerving her just as the jar pops open and causing her to fall off the dresser. Being a cat, she lands on her feet, but then the jar rolls on the vanity, first showering her with its contents...and then falling squarely on her head!^Videos(Japanese)(Viz Dub)
