• Thimblerig cons an Alamo soldier out of his meal. Busted Luck sees through his con and wins both their meals.
• A drunken Georgie swinging from the chandelier after making a bet with Mike.
• Davy deflates Mike Fink's Badass Boast introduction.
  Fink: I can outrun, outjump, outsing, outswim, outchew, outeat, outdrink...
  Davy: Outtalk?
  Fink: [happily] Outtalk!
• Georgie being pressured into drinking a Mike Fink Special and riding the tavern's chandelier.
• To lure out the pirates, Davy and Georgie disguise Mike Fink as a banker. A man unknowingly insults Mike Fink (talking about how he heard Mike, who he refers to as a "blowhard" ran from a fight with Indians), who flips over the whole bar in a rage and then has to pretend it was a near stroke.
• Davy gives a disguised Mike command of his own boat, taking a moment to explain to the expert boatman how to work the tiller.
• One of Mike's crew accidentally pulls the wig off a pirate pretending to be a Native American.
  Crewman: Hey! I scalped him!
