Funny / Conquests of the Longbow

Go To

  • If you go to Nottingham Castle in the beggar's outfit and try to give the guard Marian's silver comb, you're promptly hanged as a thief. The funny bit comes in the Merry Men screen afterwards:
Friar Tuck: Let's hope Robin adhered to the Golden Rule.
Allan: What, "do unto others as you would they unto you"?
Friar Tuck: No, "save early, save often".
  • While taking the boat across the fens, if you speak to the boatman three times (and he warns you the first two that he's losing his patience), he clobbers you across the skull with his pole and leaves you to drown.
    Boatman: Some people never learn.
    • He also insults you in Latin if you keep calling him and walking away before finally getting on the boat.
