- Trace decides to attempt coercing the second Xedur variant into obeying him by telling him he is Athetos. When it doesn't work, he simply states, "Well, it was worth a shot."
- On the password screen, entering JUSTIN BAILEY puts Trace in a bodysuit like Samus in Metroid. His portrait even changes in accordance. The real kicker is that Athetos wears it too.
- When Trace first finds the Bioflux Accelerator upgrade, which is a medical syringe full of red liquid, he's understandably apprehensive about injecting himself with it and asks Elsenova whether doing so is a smart thing to do. Her reply is that doing so is unnecessary, as she already analyzed the liquid's composition and used Trace's nanogates to introduce it into his system, causing him to comment that the concept of wireless injections is even creepier than injecting yourself with random syringes lying on the ground.
