• Kirito's first meeting with Sakura Kōzuki.
  • Kirito is in a park when he is suddenly attacked by the giant bull. As he wonders what is going on, he sees a girl leaning against a tree with a stone tablet at their feet.
    Kirito: You're the one who summoned that thing, aren't you?
    Sakura: Eep! Th-The Campione! [Hides behind the tree]
  • When Kirito says that she must be related to the people who have been stalking him.
    Sakura: E-Eh?! You saw my sempai?!
    Kirito: Only someone who was blind, deaf and dumb wouldn't see all those people flitting around in the edge of their vision!
  • After Sakura tells Kirito that Campiones are considered tyrants above most mortals, Kirito tries to just leave. He only stays when Sakura tells him that he is the only one who could defeat the bull.
• After Kōichirō breaks up another fight between Asuna and Kyōko. He turns and asks Asuna why she got dragged into another argument with their mother.
  Asuna: She took my crutches. [points over to where they are, on the other side of the table where she can't reach] Without those, I couldn't just get up and leave like I'd have liked to, Kō-nii-sama.
• Kirito is able to use one of his Authorities to transform himself into his Sword Art Online Avatar. This includes his weapons and armor, but to his annoyance, he has to call out his Sword Skills to actually use them.
  Really? He had to do something so... shōnen-like in order to use his Sword Skills?
• Suguha gets so many love letters from boys at her school in her shoe locker that they once fell out of it like a waterfall when she opened it, something that she notes is right out of an anime.
• Kirito is given a hint from Pandora to talk to Argo. The next day, he arrives home from seeing Asuna only to find Argo is there.
• Argo asks Kirito how he is able to look so well after being trapped for nearly two years.
  Kirito: Yeah, I guess becoming a Campione has some nice perks.
  Argo: [After nearly choking on some water] Wha... Kii-bou! Ya can't just go and spit that out at everyone ya meet!
  Kirito: I don't normally. However, a certain All-Knowing Woman purposefully pointed me in your direction after I went to sleep last night, so I figured it'd be safe to play it straight. So Argo, any secrets of your own that you wanted to share?
  Argo: L-Lady Pandora knows me?! [Realizes she just confirmed his suspicions]
• Argo offers to help Kirito deal with the politics of being a Campione, to which he immediately asks what it is going to cost.
  Argo: [Acting Hurt] Why Kii-bou! I am shocked, simply, utterly shocked, that you would think I would do something so banal as ta ask a Campione for payment! [Starts Grinning] But I do want you to do something, an' it's non-negotiable.
  Kirito: What?
  Argo: Why, make me your subordinate!
  Kirito: ...huh?
• When visiting Asuna in the hospital, Argo mentions the "Materialize All Items" incident. Kirito, as you can imagine, is less than happy that she brought it up.
