Sir Brante gets several opportunities to fight Dorius Otton in a sword duel, but only the last one - during the revolt - gives Sir Brante any chance of winning. Why? Because in this path he previously saw Dorius Otton suffer a defeat in the court of honor. This means Sir Brante got to closely observe Dorius’ fighting style and its weaknesses.
We never learn who Gloria’s biological father is, as Lydia won’t say, but she does say that he’s a noble of the sword. This means that, in the Judge path, Sir Brante could end up being a colleague or even friend of his mother’s rapist without even knowing it!
