At the reception in the first scene, a Zakdorn is visible shuffling around awkwardly by himself in the background. Given how obnoxious the only other Zakdorn on the show was (Kolrami in "Peak Performance"), it's easy to guess why he's not making any friends.
Lwaxana makes note of Tog's strong hands, a reference to the surprising strength that Ferengi inconsistently display.
