- Was Sir Astral really being careless when he insulted the Greater Devil Zalbard, thus provoking him into a fight, or did he know full well that the Force would have to kill him eventually, and set him off early to avoid falling into a potential trap? He previously revealed that he was savvy about the nature of the Greater Devils, and even intervened in preventing Cameela from snatching the Jewels from Bowie; therefore, it wouldn't be too far-fetched for him to act in this manner for Zalbard, even if it appears as a careless comment to players.note
Fridge Horror
- If Bowie stands at a certain area just outside of Bedoe Castle, a young Skreech will be shown plummeting to the ground (since he hasn’t learned how to fly yet) only for Bowie to break his fall and as a result, get thanked by his relieved mother then he will later join the force. But this can be skipped since he is an optional character, so if that happens, then surely it’s possible that Skreech dies or at the very least, breaks some bones due to nothing and nobody being there to break his fall?
- Similarly, not finding Kiwi before chasing after King Galam into the Granseal Castle heavily implies that he perishes in the ensuing cataclysm. It's possible that someone else found him cowering in the shack and escaped with him, but Bowie (and the player) will never know his fate.
