Out of all the curses, two stand out in particular for being absurdly powerful and almost trivial to activate: The Beckoning Light and The Foot-Washing Mansion. Naturally, being the cursed echoes of Seiman and Ashino respectively, two very powerful onmyoji, it makes sense that they would be the most powerful of the bunch. What's more is that how both Cursed Stones function is emblematic of both of their attitudes and alignments towards the Rite of Ressurection:
Seiman's The Beckoning Light is incredibly powerful and anyone who has it is pretty much guaranteed to be the winner of any confrontation between Curse Bearers. However, due to how it functions, it's completely impossible to kill anyone who ISN'T an actively hostile Curse Bearer, or collect Soul Dregs from someone who doesn't have a Curse Stone, making The Beckoning Light purely defensive in nature. Makes sense, as Seiman wants to put a stop to the Rite of Resurrection and would not wish to harm innocent bystanders.
Ashino's The Foot-Washing Mansion, however, operates on the exact opposite principle: it has the greatest offensive potential out of all of the Cursed Stones, even over The One-Sided Reed, and is seemingly designed to kill as many people in the vicinity as possible with a condition that is virtually impossible for anyone not protected by Seiman's spirit to avoid. Given that Ashino wanted to complete the Rite of Resurrection, it makes sense that her own Cursed Echo would be best suited to gathering Soul Dregs.
