Whenever Itsuki finishes talking to Mio, he lowers his head. This could just be the situation of Minakami village bringing him down. But it's just as likely to be a reference to his suicide by hanging, where his corpse is shown with his head hanging low.
The European title doesn't seem to make much sense. That is unless "project" is taken as a verb. This possibly mirrors the fight mechanism in the game series; projecting the seeming nothingness (Zero) on the Camera Obscura to exorcise poltergeists.
