• Why did the " "s device give Splitz a Split Personality? Because, as revealed during Splitzy's Choice, he hated living at the zoo since he was so lonely there. It would make sense that he had created a separate identity in his head just to have someone to talk to, and the machine uplifted them both.
• How did the crew get to the Primate Avenger when they were sent into a random time in Earth's past? Before the GLOPP was reset or shut off, Simian hit the ship with it's beam... sending it to the last destination set.
• Mandrax's advice to Simian seems, on the surface, to be a temporary reprieve... until you consider two things. First, Rhesus-2 has no interest at all in the GLOPP or remaking the universe in his image. Second, Nebula is extremely narrow-minded when he has the GLOPP, and twice failed to check it was working properly!
