Go To

  • Nebula, Nebula, Nebula... Do you ever check the GLOP you took off Simian is even working?!
  • After Dr. Splitz/Splitzy get separated into two individuals in "Splitzy's Choice":
Orbitron: It could be worse! It could be the Olsen twins!
  • In the pilot episode, Captain Simian pulls out his blaster and gets ready to set it to "KILL"...and then finds out that all of its settings are labeled "STUN." His expression is priceless.
  • In "Gorilla My Dreams", Captain Simian and Rhesus 2 hold hands and cheer over succeeding in getting the cosmic giant to sleep again, but quickly become repulsed when they remember that they are enemies.
  • "Gormongus"
    • This exchange.
Captain Simian: Shao Lin, if you say "I told you so"—
Shao Lin: I do not derive any pleasure from either your failure or your arrogance.
Captain Simian: That was an "I told you so".
    Shao Lin: (grins smugly)
    • Gor-illa defeats one of his opponents by making him realize that he's using violence as an outlet for his frustration, resulting in the monster crying on Gor's shoulder.
  • "Repo Ape"
    • Captain Simian receives a vaccination to prove to Gor-illa that they aren't that painful. After his demonstration, he runs off-screen and screams in agony.
    • Captain Simian is pretty vexed when he sees that Gor-illa got a lollipop for his vaccination while he didn't.
  • "Monkey in the Middle"
    • For this episode, Lord Nebula is a narcoleptic. As he drifts off to sleep for the umpteenth time, he orders Rhesus-2 not to slam the door on the way out. Rhesus-2 doesn't oblige, resulting in Nebula shouting his minion's name irately.
    • Captain Simian unsuccessfully tries to convince Gor-illa he isn't crazy by saying that he's just talking to a flat guy who isn't there. He facepalms once he realizes what he just said isn't convincing Gor-illa that he's sane.
  • The ending of "Monkey Puzzle Man", where Orbitron destroys Gor-illa's magno-ball and unconvincingly asserts his innocence.
  • The entire subplot in "Escape from the Plant of the Apes" involving Orbitron falling in love with the Bananatron.
  • "The Monkey Has Landed" has a lot of hilarious bits involving Gor-illa.
    • When the flower he's trying to plant has died, he doesn't react well, to put it mildly.
Gor-illa: I do not understand. The little flower is dead... I DO NOT LIKE THAT!
    • Later, Gor-illa apologizes to a robot he's smashed.
Gor-illa: Sorry, robot. I didn't mean to break off your head. I hope it grows back.
    • At the end of the episode, Gor-illa has successfully planted a new flower, but gets angry when Captain Simian tries to pluck petals from it to determine whether or not Lillith loves him.
Captain Simian: She likes me, she likes me not. She likes me—
      Gor-illa: NOT!
    • This exchange from Shao Lin after Lillith manages to redeem herself:
Shao Lin: Old Chinese saying: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice and... (angrily) I will hurt you very badly.
